Your First Paddle Starts Here

You don’t need previous paddling experience to get started.

Our Come and Try sessions introduce you to outrigger canoeing in a safe, friendly and supportive environment on the Gold Coast Broadwater. You’ll paddle in a six-person canoe alongside experienced club members who will help you learn the fundamentals.

Come by yourself or bring a friend. We’ll help you find the right paddling group for your experience, interests and goals.

More Than a Paddling Club

Outrigger canoeing combines fitness, teamwork, challenge and connection with the water.

At Gold Coast Outrigger Canoe Club, paddlers of different ages, abilities and ambitions train together and support one another. Experienced paddlers share their knowledge, new members are encouraged to grow, and families are welcomed both on and off the water.

Our club is built around four values:

Respect. Responsibility. Positivity. Innovation.

Responsibility. Positivity. Innovation.
